The other is hexagonal rhombohedral crystal calcite, d25.2 2.711. Melting point 1339ºC (10.39MPa). Almost insoluble in water, soluble in acid.
PREPARATION METHOD
Calcium hydroxide reacts to obtain calcium chloride, which is decolorized by activated carbon, filtered and impurities removed, which is then crystallized, separated, washed, dehydrated and dried to obtain pure calcium carbonate.
USES
Used as a reagent for the detection and determination of halogens in organic compound reactions and the detection of phosphorus. Used in silicon single crystal slice glue, thick film capacitor materials and the manufacture of optical neodymium glass raw materials.
