White powder with a like odor. Dissolved in water, its aqueous solution is alkaline. Exposed to air, it is easy to absorb moisture Ca.2clho, and decompose to release hypochlorous acid and  gas. Hypochloric acid decomposes to produce hydrogen chloride and gaseous oxygen. Easy to absorb moisture and highly unstable in nature; Sunlight, heat, and acidity all cause it to deteriorate and reduce the effective  content. Mixing with organic matter and flammable liquids can generate heat and self ,and can explode when exposed to high heat, making it toxic.
